Philippa works as an artist/printmaker.

Philippa lives and works in North Yorkshire. The environment in which she lives and her research into the social history of the region has informed a great deal of her recent work, most notably The Shanties of Ribblehead, an acclaimed travelling exhibition concerned with the lives of families who lived at Ribblehead for the building of the Settle Carlisle Railway in the 1870s. Philippa creates drypoints, etchings, monotypes, draws and paints.
